Swim training this afternoon Wednesday 15th February is cancelled due to illness.
Due to a problem with the pool heating system, Learn to Swim has been cancelled for the next two weeks (11 and 18 February 2012).

Due to an internal training course and shortage of cover, all training on Sunday 29 January has had to be cancelled, including land training.
On the 24 September at 8:50am from Samphire Hoe Beach Harriet set off on her channel swim. Water temperature was about 15 Degrees and the sea condition was a slight swell but not too bad, dead calm would have been better but no complaints. Her pilot boat was Pathfinder and pilot Eric Hartley. She reached the first shipping lane in 2hours 45 min most swimmers take 4hours. No problems here as it did not seem very busy.
The second day of the City of Plymouth saw even more success for the team, showing that the swimmers were back to fitness after the summer break. The Farmer brothers came out in force and took two major medals in the 100m breaststroke, both winning silver in their respective age groups, Chris went on to race in the championship final and take the bronze position overall.
We have just recieved a new order of the club kit from the suppliers Kukri. This includes t-shirts, hoodies, tracksuit bottoms and tops, gym shorts and board shorts.
